History of the Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law
The Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law (RIMSL) was established to conduct fundamental and applied research in the field of legal regulation of maritime and space activities, as well as the development of law and modern innovative technologies.
The institute began its journey in 2019, bringing together leading scientists, international lawyers, and industry experts. From the very beginning, its mission has been to develop effective legal mechanisms to ensure security and the stable development of the maritime and space sectors.
Over the years, RIMSL has become one of the key expert centers in the field of law. The institute has participated in the development of legislative initiatives, international treaties, and legal norms regarding the use of maritime resources, navigation regulation, as well as the legal aspects of space exploration and utilization.
Key milestones in the institute’s history include cooperation with international organizations, governments, and business structures, the implementation of innovative solutions, and the creation of analytical materials that have formed the foundation of modern legal regulation of maritime and space activities. Innovations in maritime and space law, ballistic missile and drone design—we integrate science and technology to strengthen global security.
Today, RIMSL continues to actively evolve, adapting legal instruments to the challenges of the modern world and contributing to the harmonization of international maritime and space law.
