Education has always been the foundation of societal development, and international cooperation makes it even more high-quality and competitive. Kherson Economic and Legal Institute (HEPI) is one of Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions, actively developing international partnerships.
In September 2024, HEPI Rector Olena Pokotylova, at the invitation of Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, participated in the annual conference “D29 Learning in Lithuania.” The event focused on new opportunities for students and faculty, as well as prospects for academic mobility.
The two institutions signed agreements on student and faculty exchanges, enabling Ukrainian educators and students to gain invaluable experience studying and teaching at a European university.
Tangible Results of Cooperation
The partnership between HEPI and Mykolas Romeris University is already yielding concrete results:
- Five HEPI faculty members completed internships in Vilnius, allowing them to familiarize themselves with modern EU teaching approaches.
- Twelve students participated in summer programs as part of an academic exchange program.
