On April 26, 2025, the general meeting of the staff of the Private Institution “Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law” was held, during which a new composition of the Institute’s Academic Council was elected.
A quorum was present, confirming the active engagement of the staff in the life of the Institute.
As a result of the secret ballot, the following members were elected to the Academic Council:

O.V. Halunko
S.M. Ivanyshchuk
M.V. Odukha
V.Yu. Oksin
A.I. Pedan
V.I. Pokotylova
Additionally, two members of the Academic Council were appointed by the Acting Director of the Institute according to the Director’s quota:
S.M. Kozyn
R.B. Shyshka
The Director of the Institute, A.A. Ivanyshchuk, is also a member of the Academic Council by virtue of his position and, according to the Statute of the Institute, serves as the Chairman of the Academic Council.
One more position in the Academic Council currently remains vacant.
In his closing speech, Director Andrii Ivanyshchuk thanked the staff for their active participation in the election and congratulated the newly elected members of the Academic Council. He expressed confidence that the renewed composition would become a reliable foundation for the implementation of scientific projects and would contribute to the development of the Institute as a leading research institution in the field of maritime and space law.
