The Supervisory Board of the Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law has made a decision to establish the Didenko Serhiy Award – in honor of one of the Institute’s founders, an outstanding scholar, statesman, patriot, and a man of great integrity.
The Award is presented for significant contributions to the development of maritime and space law, science, education, and international legal cooperation, as well as for commitment to the values embodied by Serhiy – professionalism, honesty, dignity, and dedication to the public good.
The award will be granted annually, with the first presentation scheduled to take place on [date or event].
The recipient will receive a commemorative medal and a personal certificate. Nominations are currently open. Applications may be submitted by members of the Supervisory Board, the academic community, and partner organizations.
This initiative aims not only to preserve the memory of a person who stood at the origins of the Institute but also to carry on his legacy – supporting talented, dedicated, and honorable members of our professional community.
