Valentyna Pokotylova – founder of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law.

Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Educator of Ukraine. Valentyna Pokotylova is the founder of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law (SRIMSL). Her extensive experience in economics, education management, and scientific research has played a crucial role in the establishment and development of the institute.

With 35 years of teaching experience, including 20 years as the head of the Kherson Economic and Legal Institute, Valentyna has made a significant contribution to the development of quality higher education and scientific research. She is the author of 48 scientific articles indexed in international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, as well as over 60 theses published in scientific and practical conference materials.

Currently, she holds the position of Head of the Kherson District Council of the Kherson region, continuing her active engagement in scientific, educational, and administrative activities. Her contribution to the development of the institute remains significant, and her experience and scientific achievements help enhance legal regulation, including in the fields of maritime and space law.
