The Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law continues its systematic work on integrating high-quality scientific research into its own research and expert activities. Within this framework, the Institute’s Commission thoroughly reviewed and highly appraised the dissertation research conducted by Serhii Basiuk entitled “Public Administration of Dental Practice in Ukraine.”
Following an expert assessment of the dissertation’s content, scientific novelty, theoretical soundness, and practical relevance, the Institute’s Commission adopted a formal decision to implement the results of the research into the scientific activities of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law.
The study was positively noted for its comprehensive approach to understanding dental practice as an integral component of the public administration system in the field of healthcare, as well as for the high level of systematization of administrative and legal mechanisms of state regulation of professional medical activity.
Of particular scientific value to the Institute are:
- a clear conceptualization of public administration of dental practice within the context of modern governance models;
- an in-depth analysis of the powers of public administration entities in the organization and control of dental practice;
- scientifically substantiated proposals for improving the regulatory and legal framework of dental activity, taking into account European standards;
- the interdisciplinary nature of the research, combining the tools of administrative law, medical law, and public administration.
The Institute’s Commission also emphasized the high level of the author’s theoretical training, the logical structure of the research, and the practical orientation of the scientific conclusions, which makes the results of the dissertation particularly relevant for further scientific and applied research.
The results of the dissertation research are applied by the Institute in conducting scientific studies in the field of public administration of socially significant sectors, in the preparation of analytical materials, scientific publications, and expert opinions, as well as in the development of new interdisciplinary research areas.
The implementation of the dissertation’s findings contributes to enhancing the scientific quality of the Institute’s activities, expands analytical capacities in assessing administrative and legal processes in the healthcare sector, and ensures a solid scientific basis for the expert work of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law .
