The Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law continues to strengthen its management structure, enhance its research capacity, and create effective organizational conditions for the development of its academic and research activities.
Pursuant to the Director’s Order dated 5 January 2026, Mykhailo Vasylovych Odukha, Research Fellow at the Institute, was appointed Deputy Director for Research of the Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law.
The appointment was made in accordance with Clause 6.8 of the Charter of the Private Institution “Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law” and with the aim of ensuring the effective organization of the Institute’s activities.
This appointment represents an important step in further strengthening the management and coordination of the Institute’s research activities. In a rapidly evolving academic environment, systematic management, effective coordination of research processes, a clear distribution of responsibilities, and accountability for the implementation of research priorities are of particular importance.
The position of Deputy Director for Research plays a key role in coordinating the Institute’s research activities, facilitating effective cooperation within its academic community, and ensuring the consistent implementation of the objectives and priorities defined by the Institute’s management.
In accordance with the Order, Mykhailo Vasylovych Odukha will perform his duties pursuant to the relevant job description and the distribution of responsibilities determined by the Director of the Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law.
