On December 30, 2025, the concluding meeting of the Academic Council of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law was held. The meeting took place in a focused, business-oriented format and became a logical summary of the Institute’s academic activities in 2025.
The key item on the agenda was the review of the abstracts submitted to the scientific and practical conference “Best Young Scientist”, named after Corresponding Member of the Academy of Administrative and Legal Sciences Andrii Irkliienko. Members of the Academic Council thoroughly reviewed the submitted materials and discussed their academic quality, relevance, and compliance with current trends in the development of legal science.

During the meeting, the Academic Council reviewed the following abstracts:
– Dmytro Prikhnich — Principles of Legal Regulation of Food Security of Ukraine.
– Oleksandr Lyhin — Key Principles of Legal Regulation of Hydrocarbon Extraction.
– Serhii Basiuk — Key Principles of Public Administration of Dental Practice in Ukraine.
– Mykhailo Rudenko — Specific Features of the Administrative and Legal Status of the National Guard of Ukraine.
– Serhii Rozsokha, Senior Research Fellow of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law — Certain Philosophical and Legal Aspects of Administrative and Legal Support of Notarial Activity.
– Oleh Kniaz — Certain Principles of Legal Regulation of Commercial Real Estate in Ukraine.
– Taras Ostryi — Fundamental Rights of Persons Liable for Military Service and Active Servicemen in Ukraine.
– Dmytro Dveirin — Key Principles of Legal Regulation of Electric Power Security in Ukraine.
– Anatolii Yaremchuk — Regulatory and Legal Framework for Military Service in Ukraine.
Following the discussion, the Academic Council unanimously adopted a decision to recommend the above-mentioned conference abstracts for publication, noting their high academic standard, topical relevance, and practical significance for the development of public and administrative law.
This meeting marked the final milestone of the Institute’s work in 2025 and symbolically concluded an intensive yet productive academic year. The decision once again confirmed the Institute’s consistent commitment to supporting young researchers, promoting academic initiatives, and upholding high standards of academic integrity.
As the academic year comes to an end, the Academic Council reaffirmed the Institute’s readiness to move forward with confidence, building a solid scholarly foundation for future research and professional discussion.
