A New Senior Research Fellow Joins the Institute of Maritime and Space Law

By order of the Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law, Professor Andrii Ivanyshchuk, the Institute’s research team has welcomed Serhii Serhiiovych Rozsokha — PhD in Law, a specialist in administrative law and notarial activity.

Dr. Rozsokha has extensive practical and academic experience in the field of law. He has worked as a legal adviser in the financial and energy sectors, headed legal departments of the Kyiv City State Administration, led a private law firm, and from 2018 served as a private notary of the Kyiv City Notarial District.

His scientific work covers a wide range of issues in administrative law, particularly the legal regulation of notarial activities, electronic governance, digitalization risks, and the introduction of artificial intelligence into notarial practice. His research has been repeatedly published in leading Ukrainian academic journals, including “Law and Society,” “Legal Bulletin,” and “Legal Novelties,” as well as in proceedings of international scientific and practical conferences.

For his professional achievements, Dr. Rozsokha has been twice awarded Letters of Appreciation by the Mayor of Kyiv and received an Honorary Diploma of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine.

The inclusion of Serhii Rozsokha in the Institute’s team marks an important step in strengthening the research potential of the Scientific Research Institute of Maritime and Space Law. His expertise, analytical depth, and modern perspective on the role of public administration in the context of digital transformation will contribute to the development of new research areas of the Institute — particularly in the field of legal support for information processes, security, and the ethics of artificial intelligence application.

“Our Institute is always open to professionals who combine academic depth with practical experience. We are delighted to welcome Serhii Serhiiovych to our team and are confident that his work will further enhance the interdisciplinary nature of our research,”
— noted Professor Andrii Ivanyshchuk, Director of the Institute.
